Abstrak

Tegakan manglid (Manglietia glauca Bl.) merupakan jenis pohon cepat tumbuh yang digunakan untuk rehabilitasi pada program Green Wall, Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis performa pertumbuhan serta pendugaan stok karbon jenis Manglietia glauca Bl pada area rehabilitasi Green Wall TNGGP. Pengamatan dilakukan menggunakan metode sampling dengan jalur transek 20 m x 100 m pada area tahun penanaman 2008, 2009 dan 2010, sedangkan pendugaan biomassa dan cadangan karbon dilakukan melalui metode non destruktif (pohon, tiang dan pancang) dan destruktif (semai dan tumbuhan bawah). Area rehabilitasi Green Wall merupakan area yang sebelumnya berstatus sebagai kawasan hutan produksi yang dikelola perum perhutani. Tegakan M. glauca merupakan jenis yang cocok digunakan untuk rehabilitasi lahan karena memiliki pertumbuhan yang baik dengan nilai riap diameter sebesar 2,16 cm/tahun dan riap tinggi 1,2 m/tahun. Biomassa dan cadangan karbon jenis M. glauca berturut-turut sebesar 24,57 ton/ha dan 11,55 ton C/ha.
