About the Journal

Jurnal Penelitian Pengelolaan Daerah Aliran Sungai (JPPDAS / Journal of Watershed Management Research)
JPPDAS is a scientific publication related to the land and vegetation management, soil and water conservation, land rehabilitation, hydrology, social, economic, institutional, remote sensing, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that supports the development of watershed management technology. JPPDAS is published in two editions and one volume per year, in April and October.

JPPDAS management changed several times. The journal was first published in April 2017 by the Watershed Management Technology Center (BPPTPDAS) with e-ISSN: 2579-5511 and p-ISSN: 2579-6097. This journal has been accredited “Rank 2” by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in April 2022 (SK Number: 105/E/KPT/2022) which is valid from Volume 5 Number 2 in 2021 to Volume 10 Number 1 in 2026.

In the second edition, October 2017, the management and publication of the JPPDAS were carried out by the Watershed Management Technology Center (BPPTPDAS), Ministry of Environment and Forestry with the Indonesian Soil and Water Conservation Society (MKTI). Based on The Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number 26 of 2021, BPPTPDAS was changed into the Agency for Standardization of Environment and Forestry Instrument (BPSILHK Solo). Therefore, the name of the publisher was changed into the Agency for Standardization of Environment and Forestry Instrument (BPSILHK Solo) and MKTI. In 2023, the management and publication of the JPPDAS transferred to the Association of Indonesian Forestry and Environment Researchers and Technicians (APTKLHI) because BPSILHK no longer has the authority to carry out research activities as well as publishing scientific publications.
